At Reclaimed Maine, we do more than just utilize reclaimed materials. In fact, not all of our products are, by definition, reclaimed. Almost all of our items are made-to-order which means we do not carry items in stock. When you place an order, we will create the piece specifically for you based on your selections.

Given that many of our pieces are handmade and made-to-order, lead times may vary depending on product type. IN STOCK, READY TO SHIP ITEMS (STICKERS, MUGS, ETC.): 3-5 DAYS, APPAREL: 3-7 DAYS, GLASSWARE (DEPENDING ON QUANTITY): 1-2 WEEKS. Small quantities may ship sooner. WOOD PRODUCTS: Generally 2-3 WEEKS. CUSTOM PRODUCTS: UP TO 4 WEEKS. Many items may ship quicker depending on the time of year.
Our lead time is how long it takes to handcraft your item and package it to ship. For example, during the holiday season, our wood items can take 2-3 weeks to make. Shipping time is then added on top, which means you will receive your order in 3-4 weeks depending on your shipping service. Lead times are estimated as worst case scenario. Most items will be shipped sooner, but keep lead times in mind as a rule of thumb.
We ship all of our products via USPS. Prices are calculated by the shipping carrier based on product weight, dimension, & shipping location.

$$ - Priority Mail: 1-3 Days
$$$ - Priority Mail Express: Next Day-2 Days
LOCAL PICKUP: All products are available for local pick-up in Windham, ME.
Please note that these are strictly shipping times. Please check our standard lead times to see how long it will take us to handmake your item and package it for shipment.
If you choose to return one of our standard items, you will be responsible for return shipping costs. If the item is not returned in its original condition, the buyer is responsible for any loss in value. Items must be unused, washed or worn and are requested to be returned within 2 weeks of receiving.
If your item arrives damaged, please send us an email and photo so that we can officially file a claim with the postal carrier. We ask that you hold on to the items in case they must be presented to your local post office.
CUSTOM ORDERS: We do not accept returns on personalized orders (names & dates, custom glassware, custom signs, etc) given that they were custom made for you. We will not accept cancellations after 24 hours of your submitted payment, unless shop owner agrees and has not started on your order. If your order arrives damaged or you received the wrong item, please email us a photo of the product for us to inspect. If we agree with your assessment, a refund will be processed and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment. If for some other reason you are not satisfied with your purchase, please let us know by contacting us at email@example.com.
Please note that because our items are handmade, each item may differ slightly. No two will be exactly the same.
Please also understand as I am a one woman shop, so turn around can vary from 1-4 weeks depending on your product type. Please visit our shipping section for more information on lead times.
If you need to exchange for a different color or size, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org. Per our return policy, we ask that you pay for the return shipping costs. Once we receive and evaluate the item, we will ship out the new size/color at no cost.
If you are local to the Portland/Windham area, we can also arrange a drop off or pick up at your convenience to avoid additional shipping charges.
To clean- simply spray or wipe with a cloth and warm water, then air dry. Do not soak or immerse in water.
Wood needs to have its natural moisture replenished in order to prevent it from drying out or cracking. To keep boards hydrated and well-nourished over time, recoat occasionally with a natural oil or wax, like plain mineral oil or beeswax polish. Be careful not to leave them outside overnight or for extended periods of time. Heat, sun and humidity can all affect the appearance of the wood.
- Turn garment inside out and wash cold on delicate cycle.
- Hang to dry recommended or tumble dry low.
- Do not bleach, dry clean, or iron directly onto the design.
I'm happy to add personalization to any product for a slight upcharge. If you are looking for a different state, any item can be replicated in your desired state. Please add the state or personalization request to the notes section at checkout. For customized glassware, please send us a message prior to your order so we can gauge feasibility of the design.
